Wound Care Physician

Maine Medical Partners is seeking a full-time wound care physician to join their team of providers supporting our Wound Care Center at Southern Maine Health Care, and our Wound Healing & Hyperbaric outpatient clinic at Maine Medical Center, Brighton Campus. The selected candidate will join one physician, vascular surgeon, and three advanced practice providers. The physician will serve as the medical director and physician provider for the SMHC program with both outpatient and inpatient wound care services being provided. The two programs are committed to aligning clinically and operationally around our patients, and we believe that this position is an important step in that direction.

The successful candidate will be employed by Maine Medical Partners (MMP), a subsidiary of Maine Medical Center and Maine’s largest multi-specialty group, providing wound care at Southern Maine Health Care (SMHC), one of our MaineHealth locations. SMHC offers a wide array of medical care and surgical support services.  The SMHC multi-specialty physician services group is comprised of more than 125 physicians providing comprehensive primary and specialty services and a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitation services.

MMP serves the health care needs of patients throughout Maine and Northern New England.  This high quality team of 600+ physicians and 350+ advanced practice professionals provides a wide range of hospital based, primary, specialty, and sub-specialty adult and pediatric care delivered throughout a network of 54 locations across the State and acts as a regional referral network.
