Andrew J. Applewhite, MD, is the Medical Director at Baylor University Medical Center’s Comprehensive Wound Center in Dallas, TX, which is accredited with distinction by the UHMS and is a 24/7 facility with critical care capabilities. 

Dr. Applewhite received his MD from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston and completed his Family Medicine Residency at UTMB. He now devotes his full time-practice to wound care and hyperbaric medicine, and he has served as medical director for hyperbaric medicine and wound care centers since 2003. He is double board-certified in both Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and Family Medicine. Dr. Applewhite is also the Immediate Past President of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society.

In addition to his board certifications, Dr. Applewhite is a Certified Wound Specialist Physician, Fellow of the American Professional Wound Care Association, Fellow of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine (FUHM) and a Fellow of the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine. He currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor (Affiliated) for the Texas A&M Medical School, where he teaches medical students and residents about hyperbaric medicine and wound care. 

Among other publications and poster presentations, Dr. Applewhite collaborated on a manuscript as an expert panel member entitled The Management of Diabetic Foot Ulcers through Optimal Offloading: Building Consensus Guidelines and Practical Recommendations to Improve Outcomes, published in the November/December 2014 issue of JAPMA (Journal of American Podiatric Medical Association). 

Dr. Applewhite is a national and international speaker and instructor on wound care and hyperbaric medicine and has served many leadership roles in the hospital and community — including the Medical Executive Committee for Methodist Hospital in Dallas, Baylor Specialty Hospital and Select Specialty Hospital. In addition, he is the founder of the “Aim to Heal” charity golf tournament, which raises money and awareness for diabetic foot ulcers.

Andrew Melnyczenko's combined military and civilian experience in Hyperbaric Medicine spans 23 years. He is the Technical and Safety Director of the Hyperbaric and Altitude Medicine Program at the Mayo Clinic. He is also a UHMS member and serves as the chair of the UHMS safety committee. Andrew’s professional interests lie in education, emergency preparedness, and advancing the practical use of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy.

Dr. Landrum is a physician who continually works toward a mastery of medicine. His clinical interests include hyperbaric, diving, and aerospace medicine. He completed a Family Medicine residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas and a fellowship in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine at Louisiana State University Health Science Center in New Orleans, Louisiana. He is a graduate from Texas Tech University Health Science Center with a M.D., and The Red McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas in Austin with a BBA in Finance.

Dr. Donato Borrillo, MD is a Undersea & Hyperbaric Medicine Specialist in Toledo, OH and has over 31 years of experience in the medical field. Greg is the Director at Regional One Health in Memphis, TN. This is his 3rd Multiplace Chamber he has worked at since starting in hyperbarics back in 2009. He started his hyperbaric career with Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, MN which had 3 Sechrist monoplace chambers. He has had many opportunities since then.

Dr. Gelly has been involved in hyperbaric medicine and wound care since 1991. Past positions have included Medical Directorships at academic and community hyperbaric medicine and wound care programs. She started a non-hospital affiliated hyperbaric medicine center which was one of the first UHMS accredited centers. She has been actively involved in billing and reimbursement issues for both facilities and physicians. Until recently, she was the Medical Director of Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia, a group of physicians dedicated to the practice of hyperbaric medicine and wound healing, with 5 subspecialty boarded physicians in its membership. In addition to lecturing nationally on hyperbaric medicine and wound healing for many years, she was the president of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the UHMS from 2005-2007. Currently, she serves as the Emeritus Medical Director of Hyperbaric Physicians of Georgia, and as C.E.O. for HyperbaRXs.

Dr. Feldmeier received his D.O. degree from The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1979 with USAF sponsorship and completed residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, Texas in 1985. He received a fellowship certificate from the USAF Hyperbaric Medicine Fellowship Training Program at Brooks Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas and was a staff physician there from 1980 to 1982. Dr. Feldmeier was simultaneously the Chief of Radiation Oncology and Chairman of the Hyperbaric Medicine Department at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio before separating from the USAF in 1985. Dr. Feldmeier has served as the Chief of Radiation Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Grace Hospital in Detroit, MI and the Chairman of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toledo Medical Center from which he retired in 2013 with the award of Professor Emeritus. Dr. Feldmeier has authored numerous publications in both radiation oncology and hyperbaric medicine. He has been the editor of the Undersea & Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Committee Report. He served as review editor of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine. He is a Fellow of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine and Past- President of the UHMS. He currently co-chairs the UHMS Research Committee. He is a Fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology.   He is a medical consultant to International ATMO. He is the only physician in the U.S. board certified in both Radiation Oncology and Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine.

Julio is the Program Director for the Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine at Springhill Medical Center, a multiplace, critical care, 24/7 hyperbaric clinic located in Mobile, AL. Julio's clinic at Springhill MC treats a significant number of injured divers on the Gulf Coast each year.

His background is in emergency medicine, intensive care, and clinical coordiation. Julio served in the U.S. Army as a Combat Medical Specialist and Air Medivac Operations in Operation Desert Shield/Storm. He is also fluent in Spanish.

Kaye Moseley is the owner and CEO of Strategic Solutions Consulting Group, LLC. SSG provides services to existing and new WCHCs such as facility design, billing and coding, revenue cycle management, compliance programs and documentation audits. She graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in respiratory therapy and has a degree of business administration at the University of Houston. Moseley is a Certified Professional Compliance Officer, Certified Professional Biller and Certified Professional Medical Auditor. Additionally, she is a Certified Hyperbaric and Wound Specialist through the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine.

Moseley started her medical career as a Critical Care Specialist in respiratory care in 1974 and created the Neonatal Transport Service for Memorial Hospital Southwest in 1985. She built the second Hyperbaric Medicine and Wound Care center in Houston, Texas, at Memorial Southwest Hospital in 1988. She has been in the field of hyperbaric medicine and wound care since 1988 and served on the UHMS Board of Directors as the Associate Council President from 2005-2007 and as the Associate Technical Representative from 2017-2019.

Currently the president of the Gulf Coast Chapter of the UHMS, Moseley still serves on the UHMS Associates Council, the UHMS Annual Scientific Meeting and the UHMS Gulf Coast Chapter planning committees. She is an original surveyor for the UHMS Facility Accreditation program. Moseley recently received the UHMS Gulf Coast Chapter Distinguished Service Award for her many years of dedicated service in the UHMS and the Gulf Coast Chapter. She has lectured on compliance, reimbursement, and hyperbaric medicine at various professional meetings in the U.S and in the United Kingdom. She has rotated off the Council as of June 2021 after serving for six years.

Philip Schell is a Certified Hyperbaric Technician currently working in Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has held the Diver Medic Certification #1472 and the Nationally Registered Emergency Medical Technician B1652253 titles, along with other certification titles. Currently he is a Divers Alert Network Professional #1563771 and National Association of Underwater Instructors #42608, teaching scuba diving through NAUI.

His professional history demonstrates his strength in safety, hyperbaric medicine, team-building, instruction, leadership building and balancing priorities. Schell is a Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator for Homeland Security, utilizing 30 years’ experience in health education, medical training, advising and assisting caregivers, managing staff, public speaking, marketing, teaching, proctoring and working as a safety officer. He has also been a participant in the U.S. Navy Flying after Diving Study at Duke University.

“I have spent countless hours in many chambers, including Bonnie and Clyde, two of the oldest chambers in the Midwest, the Golf chamber at Duke, and many more,” Schell said. “I have had the great fortune of learning from some of the best hyperbaric medicine and wound care professionals from coast to coast.”

Rob is the Director of Education for International ATMO in San Antonio, TX.   He started his career in hyperbaric medicine in 1985.  He is an expert in wound center design and development, reimbursement, hyperbaric safety, and transcutaneous oximetry.  He is a certified hyperbaric technologist (CHT).
