ExpedMed 2010 Expedition Medicine and Wilderness Medicine National Conference provides an excellent educational opportunity for medical professionals interested in practicing in remote or extreme environments, or consulting on patients returning from these locations. Each ExpedMed Expedition Medicine and Wilderness Medicine conference is uniquely designed to provide attendees with the most current information available in the field, taught by the experts who know it best.
Upon completion, attendees will have a solid understanding of the principles of working in foreign countries, wilderness, extreme environments and remote locations. Sessions are taught by carefully selected experts with distinctive academic credentials and experience in their field. Attendees will be equipped with the tools to embark on their own expedition or recover patients from expeditions.
Medical professionals who are actively practicing or are interested in practicing in remote locations, or who treat patients returning from these locations. The primary attendees are medical providers including: physicians, nurses, PA's and paramedics.
